The conference is co-organized by ENEA and the University of Tor Vergata.
The scope of the EU Plasma Diagnostics Conference, which first edition will be held in Italy, is to favor cross fertilization among scientists from all areas of plasma diagnostics.
Frascati is located only 20 km South West of Rome, 40 minutes drive from Fiumicino Airport, 15 minutes from Ciampino’s. This area, which is of outstanding interest for historical and environmental attractions, is also one of the most important technological and scientific poles in Italy.
In a few kilometres can be found: Scientific Research Centres of ENEA (Agenzia Nazionale per le nuove tecnologie, l’energia e lo sviluppo economico sostenibile), INFN (Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare), CNR (Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche), INAF (Istituto Nazionale di Astrofisica), ESRIN (European Space Research Institute), ESA (European Space Agency) and the Università degli Studi di Roma Tor Vergata.
